How do I know meditation is working?
Judge by looking at how your life is changing.

Well, what is the greatest vision for who you are?
Meditation moves you toward that.
And rapidly!
And with delight!
You’ll find that life will transform in ways that your mind could not even imagine.
Looking at one’s life is the only reliable way to know if “meditation is working”.
On the other hand, if we look into the actual sit-down-and-meditate experience, then we’ll be too harsh on our self and conclude “it’s not working”.
We’ll say...
“Oh, I had too many thoughts,” or “Oh, my mind wouldn’t calm down,” or “Oh, I felt like I wanted to get up and move,” ...
...and then be tempted to forget that these are all signs of stress burning off.
So how do I know meditation is working?
It’s simple. I look at my life--not at meditating.
